State College of Florida offers exam prep classes

The Corporate and Community Development of the State College of Florida Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) has announced that it will offer Test for Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) Exam preparation classes in May and June.

There will be two classes for each subject, including English, reading and science. Both classes for each subject will last three hours and will be held at the SCF Lakewood Ranch, Center for Innovation and Technology, Room 215.

The English classes will be held on May 23 and May 25. The reading classes will be taking place on June 6 and June 8. The science classes will convene on June 13 and June 15. The times for all scheduled classes are 5:30-8:30 p.m. and will cost $45 per subject.

The TEAS Exam will be offered at SCF, where students are welcome to take the test. When students pass all sections of the exam they will be allowed to apply to the nursing program offered by SCF. The exam must be completed two weeks before the application deadline.
