Cameron University will host another 1 Million Cups event Wednesday, which will bring entrepreneurs together for presentations from Shonda Carter of Shonda Carter Productions and Brittany Newton of Expert Prospecting.

1 Million Cups, developed by the Kaufmann Foundation, allows entrepreneurs to learn and develop their networks in supportive, neutral spaces over cups of coffee. The Cameron University event, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the university’s Center for Emerging Technology and Entrepreneurial Studies (CETES) and the Economic Development Center at Great Plains Technology Center.

Shonda Carter Productions specializes in film and video production services, which the company uses to help entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations better market themselves and their services. Expert Prospecting focus on real estate, providing insight and tips for agents, companies and teams. Expert Prospecting focuses on all aspects of the sector, from prospecting and lead generation to nurturing client relationships and data management.

Each presentation will run for six minutes, followed by a question and answer session for a further 20 minutes.

The event will take place at 9 a.m. in the Sharkey Conference Room.
