The University of Texas Dallas recently released the dean’s list from the spring 2016 semester, recognizing 1,174 undergraduate students.
Published at the end of each fall and
spring semester, the dean’s list includes students from each school whose
grade-point average was among the top 10 percent of averages within that
school. To make the dean’s list, students must complete at least 12 credit
hours during the semester.
The UT Dallas schools had the following
breakdown of dean’s list students: 38 students from the
School of Arts and Humanities; 101 students from the School of Arts, Technology,
and Emerging Communication; 148 students from the School of Behavioral and
Brain Sciences; 273 students from the School of Engineering and
Computer Science; 59 students from the School of Economic, Political and Policy
Sciences; 278 students from the School of Management; 205
students from the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics; 59 students from
the School of Interdisciplinary Studies; and 15 students from Undergraduate
Studies.
The students’ names that were published
were done so in accordance with student requests as per the Family Educational
Rights and Privacy Act.
