The Ashland Area Chorus in Ashland, Ohio, recently began holding open rehearsals, welcoming new and returning members to try out for its 18th season.
Singers from Ashland, its surrounding counties, and Ashland University students, faculty and staff are invited to try out on Monday nights through April 24. High schools students also may participate with the approval of their school's director.
The chorus will perform at a number of venues this spring, including the Ashland University Spring Choral Concert on March 26 and with the the Ashland (Ohio) Symphony Orchestra on April 29.
Membership in the chorus costs $25 for adults and $15 for students.
