About 71.6 percent of the 102 degrees and certificates handed out by the Dewey University-Manati in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Manati conferred 51 associate's degrees and 22 certificates in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.
But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Nursing Science. Data shows the school gave out 27 associate's degrees in Nursing Science, followed by 18 associate's degrees in Pharmacy Technician/Assistant and 15 certificates in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering Technology/Technician.
The university enrolled 534 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
