About 71.7 percent of the 487 degrees and certificates handed out by the EDP University of Puerto Rico Inc-San Juan in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Juan conferred 236 associate's degrees and 81 bachelor's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.
But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Nursing Science. Data shows the school gave out 201 associate's degrees in Nursing Science, followed by 81 bachelor's degrees in Nursing Science and 32 master's degrees in Naturopathic Medicine/Naturopathy.
The university enrolled 1,690 students for 2016-17, including 1,574 in undergraduate programs and 116 in graduate programs.
