Graduates earn 736 degrees from University of the District of Columbia

About 25 percent of the 736 degrees and certificates handed out by the University of the District of Columbia in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Washington conferred 101 bachelor's degrees and 65 associate's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Data shows the school gave out 67 bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General, followed by 60 associate's degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies and 34 bachelor's degrees in Legal Studies, General.

The university enrolled 4,318 students for 2016-17, including 3,950 in undergraduate programs and 368 in graduate programs.
