About 85.5 percent of the 870 degrees and certificates handed out by the EDIC College in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Caguas conferred 525 certificates and 219 associate's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.
But the single most popular program was for a certificate in Veterinary/Animal Health Technology/Technician and Veterinary Assistant. Data shows the school gave out 131 certificates in Veterinary/Animal Health Technology/Technician and Veterinary Assistant, followed by 118 certificates in Medical Administrative/Executive Assistant and Medical Secretary and 105 associate's degrees in Radiologic Technology/Science - Radiographer.
The college enrolled 1,124 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
