About 30.6 percent of the 937 degrees and certificates handed out by the Universidad del Sagrado Corazon in 2016-17 were to students in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Santurce conferred 243 bachelor's degrees and 39 master's degrees in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Data shows the school gave out 115 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, followed by 66 bachelor's degrees in Radio, Television, and Digital Communication, Other and 56 associate's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse.
The universidad enrolled 4,821 students for 2016-17, including 4,302 in undergraduate programs and 519 in graduate programs.
