About 52.1 percent of the 284 degrees and certificates handed out by the Colegio de Cinematografa Artes y Television in 2016-17 were to students in Visual and Performing Arts programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Bayamon conferred 84 certificates and 64 associate's degrees in Visual and Performing Arts programs.
But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production. Data shows the school gave out 64 associate's degrees in Cinematography and Film/Video Production, followed by 63 certificates in Recording Arts Technology/Technician and 48 associate's degrees in Recording Arts Technology/Technician.
The Colegio de Cinematografa Artes y Television enrolled 866 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
