About 89.1 percent of the 267 degrees and certificates handed out by the EDP University of Puerto Rico Inc-San Sebastian in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Sebastian conferred 151 associate's degrees and 61 bachelor's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.
But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Nursing Science. Data shows the school gave out 108 associate's degrees in Nursing Science, followed by 61 bachelor's degrees in Nursing Science and 28 associate's degrees in Physical Therapy Technician/Assistant.
The university enrolled 1,085 students for 2016-17, including 1,049 in undergraduate programs and 36 in graduate programs.
