In-state tuition and fees rose 3 percent for 2017-18 at University of Puerto Rico-Aguadilla, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
Puerto Rico residents paid $2,082 to attend the four-year public institution this year $60 more than the $2,022 charged for 2016-17.
Non-resident students would have paid 95.5 percent more than residents this year, or $4,070. Non-resident tuition and fees was unchanged from $4,070 in 2016-17.
100 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Puerto Rico residents.
Data shows 88 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 674 students received grants or scholarships totaling $3.64 million and 44 students took out student loans totaling more than $118,750.
Including all undergraduates, 2,573 students used grants or scholarships totaling $14.81 million. Another 413 took out $1.49 million in federal student loans.
