Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Universidad Metropolitana

Tuition and fees was unchanged for 2017-18 at Universidad Metropolitana, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Puerto Rico students paid $5,820 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution in both the 2016-17 and 2017-18 academic years.

Data shows 99 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 2,021 students received grants or scholarships totaling $10.38 million and 711 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.23 million.

Including all undergraduates, 10,083 students used grants or scholarships totaling $48.85 million. Another 6,401 took out $31.3 million in federal student loans.
