Cost of college went down for all students at Columbia Central University-Caguas

Tuition and fees fell 0.6 percent for 2017-18 at Columbia Central University-Caguas, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Puerto Rico students paid $6,480 to attend the four-year private for-profit institution this year $40 less than the $6,520 charged for 2016-17.

Data shows 97 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 194 students received grants or scholarships totaling $999,588 and 3 students took out student loans totaling more than $23,530.

Including all undergraduates, 1,407 students used grants or scholarships totaling $6.72 million.
