Cost of college went up for all students at Universidad Adventista de las Antillas

Tuition and fees rose 3.2 percent for 2017-18 at Universidad Adventista de las Antillas, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Puerto Rico students paid $7,070 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year $220 more than the $6,850 charged for 2016-17.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 210 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1.03 million and 66 students took out student loans totaling more than $161,600.

Including all undergraduates, 1,196 students used grants or scholarships totaling $10.78 million. Another 576 took out $4.1 million in federal student loans.
