Tuition and fees rose 2 percent for 2017-18 at Ashford University, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
California students paid $11,248 to attend the four-year private for-profit institution this year $216 more than the $11,032 charged for 2016-17.
Data shows 92 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 544 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.57 million and 527 students took out student loans totaling more than $3.84 million.
Including all undergraduates, 28,967 students used grants or scholarships totaling $128.61 million. Another 24,170 took out $175.36 million in federal student loans.
