Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Mech-Tech College

Tuition and fees was unchanged for 2017-18 at Mech-Tech College, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Puerto Rico students paid $9,042 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution in both the 2016-17 and 2017-18 academic years.

Data shows 95 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 988 students received grants or scholarships totaling $5.14 million and 186 students took out student loans totaling more than $563,201.

Including all undergraduates, 2,746 students used grants or scholarships totaling $12.07 million. Another 584 took out $1.66 million in federal student loans.
