Tuition and fees was unchanged for 2017-18 at Career Technical Institute, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
District of Columbia students paid $16,995 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution in both the 2016-17 and 2017-18 academic years.
Data shows 97 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 406 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.42 million and 377 students took out student loans totaling more than $3.09 million.
Including all undergraduates, 450 students used grants or scholarships totaling $2.7 million. Another 406 took out $2.98 million in federal student loans.
