Charles Koch Foundation issued the following announcement on May 10.
Writing for The Chronicle of Higher Education, Director of University Relations John Hardin discusses the giving standards that the Charles Koch Foundation follows and invites readers to examine the real benefits our grants provide to the schools, professors, and students we support. As he writes:
“We are committed to supporting colleges because they are an essential contributor to a thriving society. They’re where students learn to be critical thinkers and where scholars have the freedom to study society’s most pressing problems. Our grants are intended to reinforce an atmosphere of open inquiry and respectful challenge that is essential to the development of new ideas.”
