95 percent of applicants to Colorado State University-Pueblo were admitted for fall 2017

At Colorado State University-Pueblo, 79 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 52 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Pueblo enrolled 6,639 students in fall 2017, including 4,621 in undergraduate and 2,018 in graduate programs, data shows. 6.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

80 percent of undergraduates are residents of Colorado, and 19 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (47 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (31 percent).

The school admitted 95 percent of the 5,899 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 13 percent enrolled.
