Daytona State College enrolls 13,970 undergrads

At Daytona State College, 64 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 60 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Daytona Beach enrolled 13,970 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 6.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

65 percent of undergraduates are residents of Florida.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (63 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (17 percent).
