Baker College enrolls 11,603 undergrads

At Baker College, 57 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 70 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Flint enrolled 12,018 students in fall 2017, including 11,603 in undergraduate and 415 in graduate programs, data shows. 8.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

95 percent of undergraduates are residents of Michigan, and 5 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (80 percent) and Black or African American (12 percent).
