Universidad Politecnica de Puerto Rico enrolls 3,494 undergrads

At Universidad Politecnica de Puerto Rico, 70 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 78 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Hato Rey enrolled 4,315 students in fall 2017, including 3,494 in undergraduate and 821 in graduate programs, data shows. 9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Puerto Rico.

The undergraduate student body is comprised of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (100 percent).
