Naugatuck Valley Community College enrolls 6,373 undergrads

At Naugatuck Valley Community College, 66 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 57 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year public institution in Waterbury enrolled 6,373 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 7.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Connecticut.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (47 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (31 percent).
