University of Arkansas at Monticello enrolls 3,417 undergrads

At University of Arkansas at Monticello, 83 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 58 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Monticello enrolled 3,700 students in fall 2017, including 3,417 in undergraduate and 283 in graduate programs, data shows. 3.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

83 percent of undergraduates are residents of Arkansas, and 16 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (65 percent) and Black or African American (25 percent).
