University of Phoenix-Arizona enrolls 80,898 undergrads

At University of Phoenix-Arizona, 86 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 68 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Tempe enrolled 103,975 students in fall 2017, including 80,898 in undergraduate and 23,077 in graduate programs, data shows. 6.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

3 percent of undergraduates are residents of Arizona, and 97 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (29 percent) and Black or African American (20 percent).
