At Arizona State University-Downtown Phoenix, 84 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 68 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The four-year public institution in Phoenix enrolled 11,465 students in fall 2017, including 8,902 in undergraduate and 2,563 in graduate programs, data shows. 10.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.
63 percent of undergraduates are residents of Arizona, and 35 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.
The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (49 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (31 percent).
The school admitted 77 percent of the 5,340 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 32 percent enrolled.
