76 percent of applicants to Arizona State University-Polytechnic were admitted for fall 2017

At Arizona State University-Polytechnic, 77 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 69 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Mesa enrolled 4,809 students in fall 2017, including 4,239 in undergraduate and 570 in graduate programs, data shows. 11.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

64 percent of undergraduates are residents of Arizona, and 30 percent are residents of other states. 5 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (53 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (21 percent).

The school admitted 76 percent of the 2,483 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 31 percent enrolled.
