59 percent of applicants to National University College were admitted for fall 2017

At National University College, 58 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 69 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Bayamon enrolled 11,654 students in fall 2017, including 10,536 in undergraduate and 1,118 in graduate programs, data shows. 15.5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

93 percent of undergraduates are residents of Puerto Rico, and 7 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (100 percent).

The school admitted 59 percent of the 3,806 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 81 percent enrolled.
