Butler Community College enrolls 8,828 undergrads

At Butler Community College, 72 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 59 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year public institution in El Dorado enrolled 8,828 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

95 percent of undergraduates are residents of Kansas, and 4 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (64 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (12 percent).
