75 percent of applicants to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Daytona Beach were admitted for fall 2017

At Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Daytona Beach, 90 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 78 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Daytona Beach enrolled 6,338 students in fall 2017, including 5,729 in undergraduate and 609 in graduate programs, data shows. 4.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

30 percent of undergraduates are residents of Florida, and 60 percent are residents of other states. 9 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (55 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (7 percent).

The school admitted 75 percent of the 4,564 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 40 percent enrolled.
