Florida SouthWestern State College enrolls 15,731 undergrads

At Florida SouthWestern State College, 73 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 62 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Fort Myers enrolled 15,731 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 4.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

92 percent of undergraduates are residents of Florida.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (46 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (30 percent).
