1.4 percent of Delta College students played sports on university teams in 2016-2017

In 2016-2017, 1.4 percentage of Delta College students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Delta College has a total student body of 8,677 students, of which 57 percent are women and 43 percent are men. Of these students, 59 men and 63 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 4.3 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Delta College with the most participants are baseball (36), basketball (27) and softball (26).
