About 86.3 percent of the 102 degrees and certificates handed out by the Trinity College of Puerto Rico in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Ponce conferred 50 associate's degrees and 38 certificates in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.
But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Data shows the school gave out 29 associate's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, followed by 22 certificates in Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse Training and 21 associate's degrees in Medical Office Assistant/Specialist.
The college enrolled 174 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
